It's finally here!!!
For a while I have been looking for an affordable concealer palette that contains many different shades. Most of the palettes that resembled what I was searching for were around $40 and I didn't want to spend that much money on concealer. I came upon this amazing find while "After Christmas Shopping" in Ulta several days ago. The palette is not currently shown on NYX's website but you can purchased it in Ulta stores for the time being. My local Ulta carried limited quantities of the palettes so I assume they will be running low very soon. The palette comes in three different shades: light, medium, and deep. I purchased the palette in the lightest shade because of my extremely fair skin. The color of the plastic packaging varies with the specific shade of the concealer palette. The light shade has yellow-beige packaging, the medium shade has peach-beige packaging, and the deep shade has dark beige packaging. Here are some swatches of the shades (they are in the same order as they are in the palette).
The palette includes a salmon shade (for dark circles), a yellow toned concealer, a dark brown shade (for contouring the face), and several flesh toned shades. The lighter shades matched my porcelain skin nicely and they also mixed well with the other shades. I was pleased to find that the formula was very creamy and the pigmentation was also opaque enough to cover my blemishes fully in one application.I also found that it did not fade throughout the day. Unfortunately it was a little difficult to blend under the eyes since it has a tacky texture.
Overall, I find that this product is a must have for any makeup enthusiast on a budget. Just make sure that if you apply it under the eyes you set it with powder so it doesn't crease!
